Unlike a traditional UPS that uses an extremely inefficient process of inverting from low capacity DC batteries to 220VAC thus only providing a few minutes of uptime, our Micro UPS range are powered by DC Lithium batteries and because broadband routers typically run on low voltage (5,9,12V etc…) DC power supplies there is no need for the UPS device to invert from DC to AC and then back to DC.
